New features in Adobe XD 45.0

The version of Adobe XD includes the following features:

Designing engaging experiences using videos.

Creating engaging experiences using MP4 videos in designs. After importing, you can customize playback and interactions and preview the output on your desktop, mobile device, or in a browser using the shared link.

Designing sophisticated animations using Lottie

Lottie is a file format and an open source library capable of performing native rendering of animations created in Adobe After Effects on a website or on a mobile app. Lottie files are smaller in size compared to animated formats such as GIF and PNG. If you are a developer, you can reuse Lottie in your code.

After importing a Lottie file from your device, you can customize the playback behavior and add interactivity. You can preview the animation on your desktop, mobile device, or browser using the shared link.

Sharing and publishing designs on Behance

Show your design to the global creative community on Adobe's Behance platform and receive feedback.

Best export experience for design resources

The option Designed for exporting resources such as JPG and PNG has been removed and now Export Size replaces Export for. This change provides more granular export options, as you can now specify a custom export size from 0.1x to 10x.

JPGs are no longer resized during the import into XD.

2 GB of available hard disk space for installation. Additional disk space is required during installation.
