All versions of Microsoft Windows Server 2008. Windows Server 2008 is a server version of Windows. Windows Server 2008, the successor to Windows Server 2003, is the server equivalent to Windows Vista, and contains some features specific to this type of use. Windows Azure is a variant of Server 2008. The new features concerning this version of Windows Server are:
- Windows PowerShell is the new .NET object shell included in Windows Server 2008
- Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0
- Terminal Services Gateway for accessing applications without using RAS
- Native support for UEFI 2.0
