Microsoft Access is a software interface for managing relational database systems (RDBMS) that uses the Microsoft Jet Database Engine and natively integrates a module for the rapid development of management applications (RAD, Rapid Application Development). For the development of simple applications, you can avoid programming directly, using some templates already included in the package. For more advanced development needs, the product includes the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language (defined for Office applications as VBA - Visual Basic for Applications). Although the product supports object-oriented programming (OO) techniques, it is not entirely an object-oriented development environment.
